Principal's Corner
Hello Natoma Station Families,
Cheetah Chase - This Upcoming Friday, October 4
Our Annual Cheetah Chase is just 1 week away! Will we be able to meet our fundraising goal of raising $30,000? We are almost there! Parents who want to cheer for their child(ren) the morning of the event, do not need to be cleared as volunteers. We ask that you please enter our campus from the gate on Natoma Station Drive – adjacent to our field and the blacktop – where there will be a sign-in sheet. You will be able to cheer your child on from a designated area.
Schedule:
8:55-9:10 - Preschool, TK, and Kinder
9:15-9:35 - 3rd grade
9:40-10:00 - 2nd grade
10:05-10:25 - 1st grade
10:30-10:50 - 4th grade
10:55-11:15 - 5th grade
Community Service Day
Thank you to all of the families and community members who came out last Saturday to beautify our campus! We spread mulch, removed weeds, pruned our rose bushes, and removed lots of spider webs. I want to give a special shout out to Mrs. Cameron for helping with the organization and to the Women's Basketball team from Folsom Lake College for their hard work. Check out their video below.
Student Council Speeches and Elections
We had 29 students running for our 5 officer positions this year and even more running for class representative positions. Student speeches were well written and delivered with confidence! We are so proud of how our Cheetahs have stepped up to serve and to lead! Students who were elected as Student Council Officers are as follows:
President: Layne
Vice President: Dominic
Recording Secretary: Reese
Corresponding Secretary: Isabel
Publicist: Levi
Student Safety
At Natoma Station, our number one priority is to keep our Cheetahs safe. Please be sure to drive with extra caution during morning drop off and afternoon pick up times and follow all traffic safety laws.
Attendance for The Month of September
We are monitoring progress toward our school-wide attendance goal of 97% or higher each month this year. For the month of September, our monthly attendance average was 96.5%! Thank you for ensuring that our Cheetahs come to school daily, on time, and ready to learn!
Thank you for your support and partnership!

Folsom Community Service Day
Many hands make light work! Last Saturday community members generously volunteered their time to help beautify our campus. We accomplished a lot of gardening and mulching. Thank you to the Folsom Lake College Women's Basketball team for spending the day in the sun working hard for our campus. Also thank you to Kristina Cameron and Principal Boudouris for taking the project on and to the NSE students, parents, the Active 20-30 Club of Greater Folsom #77, and the Folsom community who gave up their Saturday morning to help our school.
THANK YOU!
CHEETAH CHASE IS NEXT WEEK!
We are so close to reaching our goal with just one week to go! Our students will earn a SPOOKY MAD SCIENCE assembly if we surpass $30,000 in donations! Remember, all funds will be used this year on enrichment programs for our students. Let's make it a record-breaking year and give our fundraising a final push! We can do it!
