May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, so that by the power of the Holy Spirit you may abound in hope (Romans 15:13)
Dear whānau, tamariki and parishioners,
We are almost at the end of the year, and yet there is so much more to do; organising the end of year events and the new rules is just one of the things on my mind. I am so grateful to you all for acknowledging that this is a decision that is made way beyond the school, and I am sure you all appreciate the dilemma - we have worked so hard as a community to make the school a place that is community based and welcoming for all and now we feel a distance between school and home.
Please don't wait for an issue, you can still come and see us in the office at any time for the good stuff and for your worries.
God bless, kia kaha, Annie

Te kupu o te wiki - the word of the week
I think you will like this one, I use it often arohamai or aroha mai which is te Reo for sorry. You'll see the word aroha in there from earlier this year. Aroha means love which is the root of arohamai, absolutley perfect when you think of sorry as a word that is used in love.
Congratulations to...
St Marys children scooped up half of the available awards at the Edendale league prize giving last Friday. These boys have been playing for the Edendale league club which compete in Invercargill each weekend.
Drake Newton took away the Under 12 Most valuable player award.
Henry Howden took away the Under 8 Most valuable player and Mason Newton took away the Under 12 Most improved player.
Well done boys!
... and more congratulations
