During this time at home, I am especially thankful for the ability to travel through the pages of a book. I invite you to join me on Fridays, as I share the first chapter of a different book each week. These will be posted through the libraries Social Media, as well as on the libraries website (the image above will be on the homepage, and include links attached to each book on the shelf).

I am very grateful to publishers who have granted permission to librarians to read their books aloud and share in this manner while we are home rather than in our building together.

Journaling can be a healthy way to process your thoughts and feelings. Especially during this time, when our opportunities to process verbally with friends is more limited, journaling can provide a great outlet for those thoughts and feelings. Below are some conversation starters that could work really well as journaling prompts.

Bonus: they will make a great primary source to share with your families in the future about your pandemic experiences.
