August 19 - Open House (times are expected to remain the same as previous years)

• Kindergarten: 1:30-2:30 PM

• Grades 1-5: 3:00-4:00 PM

August 21 - Schools Open for Students

The Final Report Cards will be mailed after the last teacher work day (June 11th) to your current listed address. If you need to update your address, contact the office.

The HAC Report Card Display will open for all schools on June 13th at 5:00 PM so that students and families can view their report cards, and will close on Wednesday, June 25th at 5:00 pm in order to prepare for the SY2024 rollover.

Computers and charges will be sent home for the summer. Be sure to plan to store and use them with care.

MES is not responsible for laptops and chargers left on-site in classrooms, the library, or the front office, or any other location at the end of the school year unless the device is in for repair with our IT Technician.

• Laptops, Chargers, and Student Accountability: As we approach the end of the school year and laptops come home, it is a good time to remind students their accountability for laptops and chargers. Below are a few resources you can share far and wide.

Kindergarten registration is now open for SY 2024-2025. Registration packets are available in the office for pickup.

Summer Food Service Outreach: SMCPS "to-go" meals for the summer at LHS, CHS, OES, and SRMS are offering 5-day meal pick-up on Mondays starting June 10th. Parents must pre-register their children by filling out the form linked below or bringing them to the site when they pick up meals.

Students are encouraged to keep reading reading 20 or more minutes every day.

Playing outside, visiting the library, creative play, and limiting screen time are also ways to keep learning. Find the Library's Summer Reading Program here.
