Farnsley Archery Set to Compete at State Tournament!
The Farnsley Middle School Archery team has their sights set on the big stage as they prepare to compete in the Kentucky State Archery Tournament this Friday at 11:45 AM at the Kentucky Expo Center. The team has been steadily improving all season, and their hard work is paying off at just the right time.
A Season of Success
Farnsley’s archers have been hitting their targets both on and off the range, securing first-place finishes at the Fairdale Shootout and the Lassiter Bullseye Tournament. Their momentum continued with a strong third-place finish at the Butler Bears Shootout, proving they are a force to be reckoned with in the state competition.
Coaches Leading the Way
Under the guidance of Coach Pardon and Coach Kellems, the team has developed into a disciplined and highly skilled squad. Their coaching expertise has helped the athletes refine their technique, build confidence, and foster a winning mentality. The dedication of these coaches has been instrumental in the team’s rise to the top.
What’s Next?
The Kentucky State Archery Tournament will be a true test of skill, focus, and determination. Competing against the best teams from across the state, Farnsley’s archers will need to bring their A-game to claim a top spot in the rankings.
Support Our Team!
We encourage all Farnsley families, friends, and fans to come out and support the team this Friday at the Kentucky Expo Center. Let’s cheer them on as they take aim for another victory!
Good luck to our Farnsley Archers—bring home that trophy!
Celebrating Our Spring Student-Athletes!
Spring has arrived, and with it, a brand-new season of sports! Congratulations to all the dedicated student-athletes who have earned a spot on one of Farnsley Middle School’s spring sports teams. Your hard work, perseverance, and dedication have paid off, and we are excited to see you excel on the field, track, and court!
As we prepare for an exciting season, we want to remind everyone of an essential fact: the first word in student-athlete is student. At Farnsley, we take pride in reinforcing the importance of academics in conjunction with athletics. Every athlete must be passing all their classes and must turn in their weekly grade/conduct report to remain eligible to compete. This ensures that our athletes are not only successful in sports but also in the classroom.
What You Need to Know:
All student-athletes must maintain a grade of C or better in all classes.
Weekly grade/conduct reports must be submitted to remain eligible.
Any student failing to meet academic requirements will be ineligible to practice or play until grades improve.
Suspensions from school will result in a two-week loss of eligibility.
Our coaches and staff are here to support you in balancing academics and athletics.
At Farnsley, we believe that sports help develop leadership, teamwork, and perseverance, but academic success remains the foundation for a bright future. Our mission is to prepare student-athletes for high school both academically and athletically, and we will continue to hold our athletes to the highest standards.
We look forward to an incredible spring season filled with competition, sportsmanship, and personal growth. Keep working hard in the classroom and on the field, and let’s make this a season to remember!
Go Wildcats!

Important Resources for Student-Athlete Parents
Below are two key resources we use to streamline communication and ensure district procedures for medical records are followed.
1. FinalForms: This web-based program allows you to upload your child’s medical information once, rather than yearly. It also lets you upload sports physical documents, keeping a copy for your records. FinalForms will send you reminders when documents are about to expire, and I will also use it to communicate with you via email.
2. Athletic Website: Our new athletic website, www.FarnsleyWildcats.com, provides updates on all sports and activities, as well as a calendar for all games and practices. You no longer need to call the school or rely on your child for schedule details. The site also sends notifications about any schedule changes.
Please see the attached instructions for registering with both FinalForms and Event Link, which houses
our website calendar.
Thank you for your attention to these tools.
