On November 7th, we hosted are first OYB fall mini fair with surrounding schools. We had 10 university/colleges visit with 22 tables including different college programs. PTA also provided breakfast snacks for our attendees, and C3 from Midland College was a great help in organizing the event!

Over 200 of our students attended, and the different college representatives complimented our students for being polite, engaged, and asking great questions! We look forward to hosting another mini college fair in the spring! Check out the photos below!

Hello, Class of 2025!

Are you planning to apply for the Midland College Legacy Scholars program next year? If you plan to apply please read the following reminders below:

• Legacy Scholars Application: the 2025 application will open in January
• Meet GPA Requirement: graduate from high school with a 2.75+ GPA. Students with a 2.5-2.74 GPA will be considered with a letter of recommendation from a high school counselor or teacher.
• Volunteer Service: you can begin accumulating your 40+ volunteer hours this summer! Click here for instructions on how to electronically track your volunteer service hours through Chap Volunteers.
• Deadline: June 30, 2025

UTPB admissions representatives dropped by to award over 200 of our students with an acceptance letter to UTPB! These students were automatically accepted because of their academic achievements without an application! Congrats to these students!
