Whether you love classic cheeseburgers or have a unique twist in mind, this is your chance to shine! All entries must be with Reception by the end of the day on Thursday 14th November. The winner will receive a copy of Jamie Oliver's 5 Ingredients cookbook and be in with a chance of having their burger on the school menu!
Co-Curricular Clubs:
Our co-curricular programme has returned this week, please see below the clubs available to students, if you wish to register your child, please do this via Edulink.
Sixth Form Visit:
This week, KPMG International Limited (a British multinational professional services network, and one of the Big Four accounting organizations, along with Ernst & Young, Deloitte, and PwC) visited our school and met with Sixth Form students. Sahill Sharma (a second year apprentice) shared with the group how he secured his apprenticeship and what it is like to work for such a reputable company.
KPMG advises key organizations across sectors like public service, finance, and healthcare on issues such as climate change, technology, and economic growth. The firm also collaborates with governments and non-profits to enhance public services and design social programs for communities.
Achievements:
Our students have made a fantastic start to their learning, and lots of lesson stars and achievement points have been given out by staff. In particular we would like to celebrate these students this week who have been recognised most highly for their efforts:
Kelia 7TE, Ameer 8TA, Ruby 9SW, Harper 10TU, Shalom 11TA, Robert 12B and Sean 13A.
School Library:
Our Librarians in Training have worked so hard to ensure that the Library is wonderfully decorated to match the season. We have received so many compliments from students visiting and the staff are amazed too! Students have been able to enjoy our brilliantly spooky displays and have kept warm by the fireplace.
