Cameron Ranch Falcon Connection
May and June 2024
Greetings Falcon Community,
We are in the final push to the end of the 23/24 school year, which is hard to believe!
We are now enrolling students into our TRANSITIONAL KINDERGARTEN program for the upcoming school year. Learn more HERE.
- Students whose fifth birthday falls between Sept. 2, 2024, and June 2, 2025, are eligible to enroll for the 2024-2025 school year.
- Students who turn four by Sept. 1, 2025 are eligible to enroll for the 2025-2026 school year.
Please mark you calendars for our Open House Family Fair, which is the biggest event of the year! We will have several food trucks, classroom displays and activities, performing arts, raffle prizes and MORE! Thursday, May 23 from 5:30-7:00.
Note: Minimum Day on Friday, May 24 with a 1:05 dismissal
Volunteers and donations are needed for our field day extravaganza on Friday, May 31. Keep an eye out for details coming out soon!
Our school-wide focus for the month of May is Diversity. Students will continue to honor diversity within our Falcon community. We will celebrate as a school family at the end of May during our assembly.
Our Library Learning Lab for the month of May is all about Making History! Students will explore and expand knowledge of counties around the world, international flags, and even look at timelines of ancient civilizations. We are thrilled to bring this hands-on learning to your students each week when visiting the library. Children learn best when they can explore with their hands!
California State Testing began the week of April 15 for students in grades 3-5. Please connect with your student’s teacher for specific grade level days, times and testing subject. Testing will wrap up the last week in May.
Looking Ahead: The first day of school for the 24/25 school year will be Thursday, August 15, 2024. Campus will be closed over the summer for the installation of our new hard-court play area and interior core fencing.
