The Boeckman Buzz
February 17th, 2025
A Note from Principal Sage
BMS Families,
Great things continue to happen at Boeckman Middle School! It’s truly amazing to walk through the building and see our learners deeply engaged in meaningful learning experiences every day.
Due to the forecasted cold temperatures next Tuesday and Wednesday, the 6th-grade field trip to Buck Hill has been rescheduled to Tuesday, February 25, and Monday, March 3. Team assignments for each day are still being finalized. We will communicate updates as soon as the details are determined. We would like to take a moment to thank all of our families for the support and contributions to this experience. While we are disappointed it had to be moved back, we look forward to warmer temperatures so our learners can enjoy it.
We hope you've heard about the registration process and have started discussing course options with your 6th or 7th grader for the 2025-26 school year. CLICK HERE to view the registration guide. All students should return their registration sheets to their TC teacher this week, as they will complete the registration process together.
If you have any questions, please reach out to our assistant principal, Dan Thompson, at dthompson@farmington.k12.mn.us.
Lastly, Quinmester 3 ends on Wednesday, marking 60% of the school year complete! Quinmester 4 begins Thursday, bringing new elective experiences for our 6th and 7th grade learners.
Thank you for your continued support of BMS!
-Joe Sage, Principal
