This year, CCSD93’s parent/teacher conferences will take place October 9 and 10 in the afternoon and evening. They will continue to take the form of Student-Led Conferences, as students will participate with their parents and teachers to celebrate successes and identify areas for growth.

Parents are invited to use PTC Wizard, an online scheduling tool, to set up conference appointments anytime from now through October 8 at noon. This year, signing up is easier than ever before! Parents no longer need to create a PTC Wizard account or add children themselves. Just follow the instructions sent via email on September 20 at noon, which included unique username and password credentials, to log into PTC Wizard and schedule conference appointments. Please be sure to schedule and attend conferences with your child. Contact the school office at 630-588-5200 with any questions pertaining to conferences. The PTA would like to extend a sincere THANK YOU to everyone who donated to our annual Walk-a-Thon and Jayhawk Jaunt. We raised $11,943, which all goes right back to our students through clubs, activities, celebrations, school enhancements, and more! The top advisory groups below had a donut celebration this past Friday!

School pictures and fall i-Ready diagnostic reports were sent home with students on Friday. Families who wish to order pictures should follow the directions on the picture proof that your student received. Families who did not receive their student's i-Ready diagnostic report should contact the school office and request a new copy.

Please join me in welcoming Officer Andrejevic to be Jay Stream's school resource officer. Officer Andrejevic has been with the Carol Stream Police Department for the past 13 years. If you see him during arrival/dismissal, at an after school event, or out in the community, say hello and welcome him to Jay Stream. He will be a great addition to our school community!
