Safety Reminders
Thank you for helping us maintain safety during arrival and dismissal by adhering to the procedures. A few important reminders:
- In the mornings, the back and side doors will not open until 7:45 when we have staff on duty at those stations. Students who arrive prior to 7:45 will need to use the main entrance. (This excludes athletes, who will enter through gym doors when on campus for early practice.)
- When dropping off or picking up, please utilize the carpool lanes and allow students to walk to/from the building on their own. If your child is walking or riding a bike, please make a plan to meet them on the perimeter of the campus rather than at the door.
Our current crossing guard at Aragon & Hillcrest is a teacher whose duty at that spot starts at 7:45, and she'll return inside in time for her 1st period class. Please be mindful of this when planning walking/biking timing with your kids.
- The morning carpool lanes have been looking great! If you're trying to plan your timing for drop-off, there's plenty of space between about 7:55-8:05. All students should be in the building and transitioning to 1st period by 8:10.
- We know you're doing your best, and we are too. Kindness is key during carpool! 🙂
