Message from the Principal

Dear Virginia Lake Families,

Happy Halloween Week! We are excited for a fun week ahead! A special thank you to all of our volunteers for the planning and preparation for our Halloween parties.

Students should wear their Halloween costumes to school on Thursday. A friendly reminder that masks are not allowed. Costumes should not be scary or offensive. Costumes with weapons as accessories are not permitted in school. Costumes should also be comfortable for learning in the morning.

Our Halloween parties are free of food. Please do not send candy to school with your child to distribute in the classroom.

All of our classroom party volunteers will be invited into the building at 2:15 p.m. to set up for the parties. Volunteers must have their ID. The parade begins at 2:20 p.m.. Families are invited to watch the parade outside on our route. Classroom parties begin at 2:50 p.m.

Families are invited to watch the Halloween Parade on Thursday, October 31st from 2:20-2:50 p.m.

Service Club

Dear Virginia Lake Community,

The Garden/Service Club is raising funds for the victims of the hurricanes. Please bring donations to school. Each classroom teacher will have a bag for the donations. The donations will go to Convoy of Hope. We’ll be collecting donations until November 1st. Thank you in advance for your support.
