Fall Gathering Registration Now Open
As Alabama Cooperative Baptist Fellowship marks our 31st year, we celebrate this fellowship as God’s beautiful mosaic in the making. Imagine the grand artistic expression of this mosaic, each tile representing a different congregation. Each church, though distinct in style and shape, contributes to the mission of bringing God’s love to the world through a rich tapestry of faithful worship, outreach, and missions. While the majesty of God’s handi-work is unmatched, it is also unfinished. Let’s turn toward another year of ministry with the hope that God will continue moving the pieces of this fellowship in just the right places where a bit more of God’s light can shine through. Join us November 7th at First Baptist Church Huntsville for this year's Fall Gathering. We'll begin with lunch at noon and end our day with worship at 7:30 PM. Registration is now open: https://www.alabamacbf.org/fall-gathering-2024

Midwives of a Movement Screening
Join BCOC for a screening of the new feature documentary film Midwives of a Movement, created with Good Faith Media and Baptist Women in Ministry. The screening is in partnership with ALCBF and will be followed by a panel discussion with audience participation.
Midwives of a Movement premiered on October 2, 2023 at Baptist Women in Ministry’s 40th Anniversary Annual Gathering in Louisville, KY. The feature documentary film chronicles the stories of the women who boldly birthed a movement to seek greater visibility and opportunities for women in the Southern Baptist Convention (SBC). Despite great opposition, their courage blazed pathways for advancing women in ministry and leadership among Baptists. But challenging religious patriarchy, and specifically Baptist patriarchy, is not only a subject of the past. It is as relevant today as it was forty years ago.
In this film, audiences today will find heartfelt stories, painful anecdotes, profound insights, and lighthearted remembrances which will inspire continued confrontation of patriarchy and advocacy efforts so that women find equality and equity among Baptists.
