Kindergarten Discovery is a fun-filled event where your child can explore your school of choice and get ready for an exciting year ahead! Students will have the chance to tour our classrooms, meet our friendly teachers, and even climb aboard a real school bus! It’s the perfect opportunity to make new friends, take pictures, and learn about what to expect in kindergarten. We can’t wait to see you there and start this wonderful journey together!

Attending Discovery Night at the school you are enrolled in, or are planning to enroll in, is the best opportunity to explore your school and get prepared for kindergarten.

Enrolling now will ensure that your student is ready for the first day of school, and it will help us plan for staffing and class sizes. Keep in mind that if you are enrolled in our preschool program, you still need to fill out the Kindergarten Enrollment online. Don't have a computer or need assistance? We're here to help! Just drop in at your school or the District Office and our friendly team can assist you.

At this time our C-I STEAM program is FULL. If you would like to be added to the waitlist, please contact the school at 763-552-8800 or email iis-communications@c-ischools.org. You should enroll your child in your next choice of school while you're on the waitlist.

Families who live beyond our Cambridge-Isanti School District borders will need to complete an Open Enrollment Form in order for their student to attend school in the Cambridge-Isanti District. Please return the form as soon as possible via email to cienrollment@c-ischools.org, or upload it in your enrollment application.

If any of the following situations apply to your family and you wish to be removed from future kindergarten communications, please respond to this email and we will update our records. You can also email cienrollment@c-ischools.org or call 763-689-6191.

If you have friends or family who have a child turning age 5, please share this information with them. Cambridge-Isanti Schools offers tuition-free, full-day kindergarten options open to all children who will turn age 5 by September 1. Thanks to the overwhelming support of our school district referendum in 2021, we have:
