Principal Message
Happy Thursday! I hope everyone enjoyed last week's break. A few important items to note:
~ Walk-A-Thon & Washington Family Picnic were a HUGE success. Thank you to EVERYONE who made both things a smashing success!! Washington is most definitely an amazing place to be! We raised $14,155 this year, which is awesome! Kudos to everyone who helped to make this happen!
~ Parking: Please avoid double parking during pick up time. This is becoming an issue, particularly near the buses. I recognize that pick-up time is tight and can be hard to find a place to park. Not double parking and safely crossing the street using the crosswalks is absolutely critical for the safety of all!!
~ School Pictures: Student pictures should be coming home today! Please check your child's backpack when they get home. Picture retakes will be on the morning of Friday, November 8.
~ No Halloween Costumes are allowed at school. Your support with this is very appreciated.
~ PTO Fundraiser at Noodles: Mark your calendar for a PTO Fundraiser at Noodles (the one up by the mall--1930 Adams Street) from 4:00-8:00pm on Monday, November 4, 2024.
~ Washington Clothing Order: See the information below regarding ordering Washington clothing apparel. A paper copy of the order form came home already, but if you need another form, please have your child grab one from the Washington office.
~ Conferences will be here before you know it! They are scheduled for November 14, 18 & 19. Here is the link to the sign up Genius for Conference Meals, and here is the link to sign up to help with the Scholastic Book Fair. The PTC Fast link to sign up for conferences will be coming soon!
Thank you for being such a great Washington community!
