To our current Grade 12 students, please be sure you can access your myPass account. Remember it's your personal email to connect. Second semester diploma marks will be released around July 18, 2024. Please make an appointment or email if you require any support before the end of the year.

Those of you returning next year, we will see you in the fall! Our 2024-2025 booking calendars (under 'Classwork' in your HS+ Google classroom) will be available starting in September!

When the federal budget was released in April, economic growth and it's impact on youth were key compenents. Here are a few proposed plans that could affect your children:

• Student Loan Interest - There is a proposal to lessen the interest attached to student loans and increase the amount of principal distributed.
• Apprenticeship Strategy - Skilled tradespeople continue to be in demand. A new 'tooling up training' program has been suggested.
• Youth Employment & Skills Strategy - Funds to support employers looking to hire youth, especially in sectors that face labour shortages.

• Alberta.ca Account (to access Apply Alberta, Rutherford Scholarship and Student Aid)
• myPass for your Detailed Academic Report (DAR) and final marks with Alberta Education (use your personal email for this account).
• Alberta Student Aid Apply about two months before you plan to attend.
• Rutherford Scholarship (available August 2024 for the 2024-2025 year) * Everyone should apply if they attend a qualifying program next year. If you attend when you are older, remember that you can apply at that time, regardless of age.
