Hello, Jr. Jag Families!

Well, we've made it through the first 3 days and they have been AWESOME! Our students have been learning our routines and expectations and are learning quickly. Mr. Teubner, Ms. Muñoz and I have been around to every classroom to meet our new Jr. Jags and welcome back our returning Jr. Jags. We have seen lots of smiles and happy kiddos.

Dismissal has gone pretty well, too. As a reminder, the first week or so is a bit slower than normal, but as parents and students learn the processes, they get better. Please continue to be patient with staff, students, and other parents. If you pick your child up through the car line, we ask that you please remain in your car as to not disrupt the flow of traffic. Also, you MUST have this year's car tag in order to pick up your child. If you do not have a car tag, our staff will redirect you to the office to receive one before releasing your child. If your child is a walker and you meet them up front, please wait up front by the marquee area. Our teachers will walk them there and through the crosswalk. We need to keep the front sidewalk areas clear for our students to get through. These practices and procedures keep our students and staff safe. Please be courteous. Safety is always our number 1 concern.

I'm sure you will have some extra tired and sleepy babies this weekend. We hope they get some much deserved rest and are ready to learn on Monday. Enjoy your weekend!

We will host Parent Information Nights next week. Our grade level teachers will talk to you about various things/topics you need to know as a Tipps parent. We invite you to join. Meetings will take place in the cafeteria.
