Picture Retake Day is October 23
Wednesday, October 23
Students who need a retake or did not have a picture taken on Picture Day should have an individual picture taken to be included in the PGS Yearbook. It will be a drop in format between 11:40 am and 12:30 pm. If you ordered a picture packet on Picture Day bring it with you.

Pre Order Your Student's Lunch Ahead for Wednesday, October 23
Our Cafeteria is closed on Wednesday, October 23 for PSAT Testing. If you would like your student to have a Grab n Go lunch email their food and drink choice from the options below by the end of the day Monday, Oct 21 to mslaker@everettsd.org.

Did you know there is a Share Bin in the Cafeteria?
Any Unopened Prepackaged Item Can Be Dropped in the Share Bin!
Your student can pick up or drop off any unused pre-packaged items in the Share Bin located just left of the Cafeteria double doors.
This includes cheese sticks, yogurt, granola bars, PBJs, Crasins, etc.

PTSA Fall Festival Oct 30 in the Gym
Literary Pumpkin Contest at the Fall Festival
PTSA Fall Pickleball Club Coming!
Our fall session of afterschool Pickleball club for students 3rd grade and up is starting Tuesday, October 22! Space is limited, email Megan at mslaker@everettsd.org
Thank you to the PTSA for sponsoring this for Tuesday afternoons in the Gym from 2:30 to 3:30!
Students will learn the basics of how to play Pickleball including the following:
- Instruction on serving, forehand & backhand
- Scoring games
- Etiquette & basic rules for community play
- Fun drills & games
- Equipment care, set up and take down
Students need to wear tennis type shoes, comfortable clothes and bring a water bottle.

Air resistance pushes against the gravity pulling the parachutes downward.
Students made their own parachutes with paperclip skydivers to jump from the Sequoia balcony.

The Farm at Swans Trail in Snohomish, WA – Annual festival highlighting apple varieties grown at Swans Trail Farms. U-Pick apples, family-fun farm activities, watch cider pressed in the Cider Mill and enjoy warm apple cider donuts made fresh daily. Our kids play area, corn mazes, and food stands will also be open. This is good old-fashioned fall fun at its best. Pumpkin patches, fresh-pressed cider, and a Washington State corn maze! What could make it feel more like Fall? At Swans Trail Farms, we pull out all the stops for a good, old-fashioned festival.

Carlton Farm in Lake Stevens, WA –They are on a 60-acre farm and have been around for more than 40 years. This is a great pumpkin patch for kids and adults. They have kids activities – play area, bucket train, hayrides and a petting zoo. They always have a huge amount of pumpkins to choose from! Located at 830 Sunnyside Blvd SE Lake Stevens, WA 98258.
Bob’s Corn in Snohomish, WA – At Bob’s Corn, there is a 30-acre pumpkin patch, a corn maze through 10 acres, fire pits, picnic areas, and a store with great food grown on his farm. Located at 10917 Elliott Rd Snohomish, WA 98296.
