The trip would be available to students that have completed sixth grade at the time of the trip. They highlighted the benefits of an authentic experience for students and also shared the cost, itinerary, insurance information, fundraising opportunities, and health and safety protocols. The Board approved the trip to take place in July of 2026. More details on the trip are available in the meeting agenda.
- Tim Fosshage, Director of Pupil Services, was appointed by the Board as the District's Foster Care Designee.

Kimberly High School Shines with Statewide Academic Honor
The Advanced Placement program allows students to tackle college-level work while still in high school. By taking AP exams and courses, students can potentially earn college credits or satisfy prerequisite requirements, allowing them to place out of entry-level courses in subjects they have already mastered. This can give them the flexibility to take higher-level courses sooner, saving time and reducing college tuition costs by needing fewer classes to graduate.
The Pacesetter Awards are unique to Wisconsin and are earned based on the percentage of students participating in college courses combined with each student’s AP Exam scores.
To be recognized as a Pacesetter Level 1 School, more than 30% of students at the school must take AP exams and more than 70% of those test-takers must receive a score of 3 or higher (students must receive a three or above to receive Advanced Placement credit).
