LHS 5.18.25

Dear Lincoln High School Families,
Summer is a great time for high school students to explore learning beyond the classroom while staying engaged and active. Encouraging curiosity—whether through reading, hands-on projects, creative hobbies, or real-world experiences—helps maintain momentum for the upcoming school year. Supporting their interests, setting small goals, and finding opportunities for growth, like summer jobs, volunteer work, or skill-building activities, can keep them inspired. For some students, summer may also include attending summer school. If your student is behind in earning the required credits towards graduation, please read the Summer School information and fill out the included form.
Kindly,
Ms. Wendy Bridges
Principal, Lincoln High School

Keeping Students Safe While Online
How can we keep our students safe while online? One resource that is extremely important to make parents aware of is the Michigan Child Protection Registry. This Registry is a do-not-contact service that families can easily and quickly sign up for at www.ProtectMIChild.com in order to keep their children safe while on their devices at school and at home. This is a free Registry offered through the State of Michigan that stops adult advertisements from reaching our kids through e-mail, text, Snapchat, Twitter, Instagram, YouTube, Discord, Twitch and TikTok. This Registry is an excellent resource for making sure our kids aren’t being served ads for alcohol, tobacco/vaping, online gambling, pornography or marijuana.
