Weekly Update for Nov. 18 - 22, '24
Dear Families,
During the month of November we have focused on gratitude. It is very easy for me to be thankful for the incredible students, families, staff and community here at Truscott. Each day I am grateful to greet our amazing students, be in the classroom and see the deep learning that is occurring in two languages and to share this with our families, district staff and the greater Loveland community. Your children continue to grow and learn each day academically and socially. I have the BEST job in the world, watching them learn and grow. I'm grateful for the relationships I have with each of you.
As you have a chance to be together as a family over Thanksgiving Break, my hope is that your family is able to share your gratitude with each other. Enjoy your time together!
All the best,
Karen Hanford

A Note from the Health Office
Hi families,
As the weather gets colder and we start to see more moisture and precipitation, please be aware that playground equipment may be wet, which means your child's clothing may become wet. We have a limited supply of clothing in the health office to support toileting accidents, so it would be helpful if your child had a set of dry pants and socks in their backpack just in case. Please also remember to send your students with appropriate clothing including coats, jackets, hats and snow boots as the temperatures continue to drop. We have a few spares here, but not many.
Please also remember that cough drops and throat lozenges, while helpful during cold and flu season, are not allowed to be brought to school. Any medicines, including cough drops and lozenges, must have a doctor's permission for administration and have to be kept in the health office.
Thank you for your understanding.
