Dear Parents and Community Members,
Thank you for your continued support of Bonillas and ensuring students are arriving to school on time each day. We will begin sending letters of support home to families that have continued late arrivals or consistent absences.
This week we have parent teacher conferences. If you have not scheduled a meeting with your student's teacher, please send them an email or contact the front office.

Dynamite Ditties from Derksen:
- Our Character Trait for September is Respect.
- One student from each class will be recognized during the Fantastic Friday Assembly for receiving a Gotcha Card showing Respect.
- We were excited to recognize our staff Beaver of the Month: Mrs. Karen Wilson. She works so hard to help make Bonillas the wonderful and outstanding school that it is.
Health and Wellness
- Pool testing is every Monday. This is a free and optional COVID pooled testing program for students. Click here to register. Access Code: TUSDBTEMS
- We know accidents happen and children do not always make it to the restroom on time. If your child is in grade K-2, Please send a set of extra clothes in a plastic bag labeled with your child's name if this is common.
Safety Reminders
- For the safety of the students, you must pick them up on campus from their teacher. They will not be released to go to your car, you must enter the property.
- There is no stop and drops in the parking lot. This impedes the flow of traffic and makes it unsafe for students and parents.
- Parents must sign students in at the front office if they are tardy. Please arrive by 8:15 if your student is going to be eating breakfast in the Caring Café.
