From the Principal's Desk—
Hello Hilltopper Families:
Fall is here! It was great to see so many of our families at the PTO Fall FUND Festival. It was a fabulous event and the smiles and laughter were contagious. Thanks to our PTO for all of their work in making this event so memorable. Congratulations to our #1 student seller, Olivia Hamilton, in Miss Tufts class and our #1 class, Miss Coon's class!!!
Just a few things to keep in mind as the change in seasons is upon us. The colder weather came quickly, didn’t it? It’s hard to believe flakes will be falling soon at Park!
We will go outside for recess as long as the wind chill is above 15 degrees! Please be sure to send your student to school with appropriate clothes and outerwear for the weather.
Also, please label your child’s coats, hats, gloves, boots, etc. with your child's name.
Please call the office if your child is absent for any reason. We have a 24 hour attendance line that is checked multiple times a day where you can leave a voicemail letting us know why your child is absent. We will call you at home, work and at any other numbers listed on Infinite Campus if you do not report your child’s absence.
If your child misses school due to illness or an appointment, please bring a doctor's note, or have the doctor's office fax one to us. If your child is excessively absent, absences may be counted as unexcused without appropriate documentation from a doctor's office.
Remember, there is no school on Friday or Monday! Enjoy the long weekend!
Sincerely,
Mrs. Makee
Socktober!

Grades
Grades are now visible in Infinite Campus. Please note that these grades reflect your child's most recent assessments and in-class work. They are an indication of progress made thus far.
These grades provide a snapshot of your child’s current performance and areas of growth. Please keep in mind that there is still ample time for students to improve and demonstrate their understanding as the quarter progresses.
If you have any questions or need further clarification about your child’s grades or their progress, please do not hesitate to reach out to your child’s teacher. We are here to support you and your child in any way we can to ensure their success. Thank you for your continued partnership in your child’s education.
