The following are available now for this school year.
Unless otherwise noted you can obtain applications and information from Mrs. MacFarlane in School Counseling, room 2112.
Pay close attention to how the scholarships are paid if you should be the recipient. This information will be at the end of each Scholarship listed if I have it.
Scholarships Available
Cape Cod Chorale 2024 Barbara Knight Memorial Scholarship
Criteria: Awarded to a graduating senior from any public or private school in the towns of Barnstable, Sandwich, Mashpee, Bourne and Falmouth. Applicants must plan to major in music in college, whether that be in music education, music theory, composition, music management, conducting, music history, performance, etc.
How to Apply: Applications are available from Mrs. MacFarlane, online at www.capecodchorale.org or from your Music Teacher.
Amount of Award: One $1,000 scholarship will be awarded.
Deadline: Must be received, by mail, by March 31, 2025
Chatham Chorale Scholarship
Criteria: For a graduating vocal music senior from one of the eleven (11) public High Schools on Cape Cod. You must show evidence of acceptance at an accredited four-year degree-granting institution and be enrolled as a fulltime student in a course of study leading to a baccalaureate degree with specialization in vocal performance, vocal music education, vocal theater arts or an accepted variant of the above.
How to Apply: Applications are available from Mrs. MacFarlane in School Counseling, room 2112.
Amount of Award: One scholarship of $2,000 will be awarded.
Deadline: Applications must be postmarked by March 29, 2025
The Barnstable Quarterback Club, Inc. Scholarship
Criteria: To be selected for this scholarship a candidate needs to meet the following criteria;
· Have been a member of the football/cheer program for at least 2 years.
· Demonstrate dedication to the RedHawk football/cheer program.
· Be of strong moral character on and off the field and exhibit excellent sportsmanship.
· Be accepted to a 2-year or 4-year college in the upcoming fall semester.
· Submit an application, resume’, and a written essay.
How to Apply: Applications and information is available from Mrs. MacFarlane in School Counseling, room 2112.
Amount of Award: One $500 scholarship will be awarded.
Deadline: Turn into Mrs. MacFarlane by March 14, 2024
Otis Civilian Advisory Council Scholarship
Criteria: To be eligible for the scholarship, you must be a senior at or graduated from high school and have applied to be or be presently enrolled in an institute for higher learning. All applicants must be military dependents of those currently in active duty or reserve Cape and Islands Military including, US Air Force, Air National Guard, US Army, Army National Guard, Space Force or Coast Guard.
How to apply: Applications are available from Mrs. MacFarlane in School Counseling, room 2112.
Amount of Award: Four scholarships of $1,500 will be awarded.
Deadline: April 1, 2025
Scholarship will be paid directly to student upon successful completion of first semester.
Cape Area Pilots Association Scholarship
Criteria: Applicants should be residents of Cape Cod, Massachusetts who are US citizens and graduating from high school. Scholarships are offered to individuals who will be attending an aviation college or university leading to a Bachelor’s or Associate degree in an aviation related course of study OR employed in an aviation related field during which you are attempting to enhance your aviation job skills through course work at a trade, technical school, junior college, college, or university.

Amount of Award: Several Scholarships will be awarded up to $5,000.
Deadline: March 31, 2025
This scholarship is paid directly to the college or institution upon receipt of first tuition bill.
