Our next packet distribution for Kindergarten and 1st-grade students will be this Thursday at from 9 to 1 p.m.
Students in grades 2nd - 6th without internet access may pick up packets at that time as well.
You may drop packets off early in the front of the school in the bin labeled with your grade level. See the new location in the picture below. (Please make sure your child's first and last name is on the front of the packet before you drop it off.)
We will send more details about pickup procedures Wednesday Morning.
eLearnng Updates and Reminders
School building hours are Monday-Thursday from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. if you need to pick up anything from school.
The building is closed on Fridays but you can still reach administrators and teachers via email.
Interims will be mailed on April 28th. Please keep in mind that any work that is not turned in will be recorded as a zero.
Kindergarten teachers will be reaching out to parents to check mastery with all students using facetime, google meet, zoom etc. Please be on the lookout for your child's teacher email or phone call.
Posters and Cards for Local Hospitals
Florence School District 1 is collecting posters and cards for our local healthcare workers. If you would like to show your appreciation you may drop off cards and posters to the district office by Tuesday, April 28th.
Changes in Meal Pickup Requirements
There are daily updates from the State Department regarding the meal service during the closure period. The following update has allowed for parents to present the students ID or proof of the child to obtain the meal.
Any adult without proof of a student will be allowed one meal.
We will continue utilizing our Instagram and Facebook Page this year to showcase all our positive school wide activities. The intent of this forum is to maintain a positive school climate and promote the great things happening at Savannah Grove Elementary.
