This month on "Meet Our Staff"
Assistant Principal, Mrs. Plowman.
Greetings Dearborn Families. My name is Kady Plowman and I am honored to be the new Assistant Principal here. Thank you for welcoming me to the Dearborn community! I have been serving the students and families of LAUSD since 2001. I have been a teacher, an instructional coach, an Intervention teacher, a coordinator, and this will be my third year as Assistant Principal. My passion is instruction and meeting the diverse needs of all students so that they can meet their potential. I also promote Social Emotional Learning and Positive Behavior Strategies as a bridge to student success. When I’m not at Dearborn, I enjoy travel, reading, hiking, music, and hanging out with my husband and two daughters. I am excited about this new opportunity to work at a school with such wonderful students, a dedicated staff, and a supportive school community.
Back to school night is an opportunity for families to receive information about the instructional program. Teachers will be available for conferences at a later date.
