Dear Students & Families,
Happy Summer vacation! Last week, students finished their finals and teachers wrapped up grading; the weather has finally warmed, and I hope that everyone has begun to rest, relax, and recharge. Thank you for a wonderful year. It remains my privilege to work with this incredible AHS community of staff, students, and families. We look forward to welcoming everyone back in August!
Thank you and goodbye
We want to thank our departing staff members and wish them the best with all of their future endeavors:
Ana Velazquez, Caroline Cares, Celty Fitterer, Garrett Seddon, Itsel Zuniga-Torres, Jill Mueller, Makenzie Bortell, Nicole Free, & Tammy Highberger. Thank you all for the time and energy you gave to AHS and our entire community. We will miss you!!
Summer Work
All students have summer work! Please click on the links based on your grade level. This information will live on the AHS Homepage, too.
Aspen High School Summer Access
We are under more construction this summer, so there is no access to AHS through the doors by the faculty parking lot. In addition, specific classrooms will only be accessible if prior arrangements are in place. We have outside organizations using rooms, and we are getting new floors, which will restrict the ability to move throughout the school.
Student Google Certification
Are you interested in earning a Google certification and working to support our new Chromebook program next year? Complete this form to have an assigned class period to work in the AHS Chrome Zone (location TBD) where you will not only earn a certificate, you will receive course credit, and be one of the Google help desk gurus at AHS.
DRAFT Schedules
Students received their draft schedules on Monday; they will receive updated schedules this week via email to reflect any changes that were requested.

Each volunteer is paired with a buddy for the week who has a disability, helping them learn their lines, getting them into character, and helping with their performance if they need the assistance.
The camp is Monday – Friday with rehearsal each day from about 8am – 2pm, ending with the performance on Friday, July 12th at Noon. Students will receive at least 25 hours of community service. It is open to the public and is free of charge.
