Student Registration Chromebook Winner

MOTHER’S DAY GREETINGS & BLESSINGS

Motherhood is a high calling. Wishing you the blessings of motherhood through the intercession of Our Lady Mother of Jesus the Saviour. May your sacrificial and unconditional love as mothers be rewarded hunderedfold here and hereforth. Pray for God’s endless blessings of wisdom, good health, happiness, peace, joy and love in your noble vocations as mothers. Amen.

Welcoming new Holy Father: Pope Leo XIV

The Catholic community extends its sincere congratulations to the new pope chosen to lead our universal Church, Robert Francis Cardinal Prevost as Pope Leo XIV.

We ask the faithful to pray that the Holy Father will have the spiritual strength, wisdom and humble example as the new shepherd of the Catholic Church. We are confident that he will guide the Church for years to come.

Prayer for a Pope:

O God, who in your providential design willed that your Church be built upon blessed Peter, whom you set over the other Apostles, look with favour, we pray, on Leo, our Pope, and grant that he, whom you have made Peter’s successor, may be for your people a visible source and foundation of unity in faith and of communion. Through our Lord Jesus Christ, your Son, Who lives and reigns with you in the unity of the Holy Spirit,God, for ever and ever.

Celebrating our Teachers

National Teacher Appreciation Day is on May 6th, Tuesday during first full week in May as a reminder to show appreciation for teachers everywhere. We use this National Day to say thank you to all teachers for their time and dedication to educate our children.

This year, the theme for Mental Health Week from the Canadian Mental Health Association (CMHA), is M A S K I N G
Masking is when we hide or suppress personality traits, behaviours, or emotions from others.
Read through to understand more about masking and how we can recognize it in ourselves and in others. By understanding signs of poor mental health, like masking, we can work to create a more safe and exclusive space for everyone! We all have mental health.
