Media Center/Readers are Leaders
READERS ARE LEADERS
Readers are Leaders has had a busy week!!! Your students are doing a “Bootiful” job reading, earning Brag Tags, meeting challenges, and an outstanding number of 6th grade students have read and passed over 100 books since school started. I have so many Kindergarten and 1st graders achieving their first Brag Tag, that I am going to try to include pictures in every Newsletter!!!
The current challenge is for K – 5th grade. K, 1st, and 2nd graders read books from our CARE collection, while 4th & 5th are reading as many books and earning as many points as they can! All of these classes may earn Brag Tags or pins – or both!
The Challenge ends October 31st, 2024.
We will be Feasting on Books in November as part of Monroe County’s Culture of Literacy.
I have a lot of pictures for next week's Newsletter!! Thank you to my wonderful, hard working volunteers!
