Superintendent's Message
Dear Ranger Families,
As we spring into the month of March, the calendar is full of events like conferences, concerts, talent shows, and spring sports. You can stay up to date with the current happenings at NRCS.net and see the latest sports information at RangersAthletics.com.
In February, the district hosted an all-day Educational Visioning event, serving as the kick-off for the design process of our new high school and maintenance/transportation facility. The event was a success in gathering information for the architecture firm and it set the stage for a transformative future. Further details can be found below.
Athletically, February was nothing short of spectacular. Grace Kingery etched her name into Lorain County history as the leading scorer in Women’s Basketball with 1,926 points. Grace has also been named Lorain County D1 Player of the Year, while Coach Amy Esser earned the well-deserved title of Lorain County D1 Coach of the Year. Jakob Holland and Jesse Kilgore's remarkable achievements in bowling and the indoor long jump, respectively, earned them spots in the state championships. Additionally, Ranger graduate Brendan Corrigan brought home Gold in the 100-meter freestyle and Silver in the 50-meter backstroke at the Special Olympics. Congratulations to our exceptional athletes and coaches for their outstanding accomplishments!
As we dive into March, our focus shifts to spring break and the spring musical, “Beauty and the Beast,” presented by our dedicated Drama Club. The performances are scheduled for March 22 - 24, promising an unforgettable experience. You can purchase tickets here. Let's all cheer them on with a heartfelt "break a leg!"
A friendly reminder: Kindness Week kicks off on Monday, March 4th, featuring a unified district-wide spirit week. The schedule is outlined below, providing an opportunity for us to come together and celebrate the power of kindness.
Keep up the amazing work, Rangers!
Sincerely,
Roxann Ramsey-Caserio

Educational Visioning
On Tuesday, February 20, the district hosted an Educational Visioning session with a diverse group of participants, including students, staff, parents, community members, local business leaders, and representatives from education institutions. This all-day event is the beginning of the design process for the new high school and maintenance/transportation facility.
These participants actively contributed to envisioning the district's future. Unique tasks assigned to each table allowed participants to hold collaborative discussions to delve into specific
aspects of these upcoming projects.
This is the first big step in the design process and we look forward to engaging more stakeholders to ensure these projects meet the ever evolving needs of our community.
