Pawsitive Pal
This week's Pawsitive Pal is Mrs. Tina Funke!
A Red Lion alumna, Mrs. Funke is a veteran member of the English Department, teaching English 3 and English 4. She continually works to improve her craft in order to provide her students with a learning environment that supports them in reaching their full potential.
This year, in collaboration with her co-teacher Mrs. Wireman, Mrs. Funke implemented Signposts—a reading strategy that helps students understand and analyze texts more deeply.
Beyond the classroom, Mrs. Funke is a proud supporter of various student activities. She can often be seen at both sporting and musical events and recently delivered a middle-of-the-night motivational speech at Mini-THON.
Mrs. Funke, thank you for your dedication to your students and to Red Lion!
