District Fundraising with Byrne & Pelofsky
Lisa Pelofsky, Co-Founder & CEO of Byrnes & Pelofsky, presented to the Board of Education on a proposal to assist Piper with fundraising and grant writing initiatives. No action was taken during the September meeting.

Fonda Telthorst, Piper Prairie Elementary Teacher and member of the 2024 Kansas Teacher of the Year team, discussed her year in the program.
2024-25 Budget Adoption Executive Summary
The Board of Education unanimously voted to adopt the 2024-25 annual budget.
District Fundraising Policy
This is a first read of a draft district fundraising board of education policy. The purpose of this policy is to proactively and effectively guide school fundraising efforts while ensuring student safety and well-being.
Bond 2022 FF&E Additional Furniture Purchase
The Board of Education unanimously approved to purchase additional furniture that is needed at the Piper Early Childhood Center, Piper Creek Elementary, Piper Middle School, Piper High School and District Office.
Bond 2022 FF&E Additional Casework
The Board approved to purchase additional casework for Piper Creek Elementary to include a wardrobe cabinet for each classroom with storage to match existing caseworks.
Equipment for Health and Life Sciences Lab
The Board approved the purchase of equipment for the Piper High School Health and Life Sciences lab to provide students with hands-on learning experiences in a professional-grade setting, preparing them for future careers in the medical industry.
Furniture for Public Services Lab
The Board approved purchasing furniture for the Piper High School Public Services lab to provide students with authentic learning experiences in a professional-grade setting, preparing them for future careers in Public Services.
