Voluntary COVID-19 Testing Program

Hello TTUSD Families,

In an effort to continue keeping all of our students, families, and staff safe and healthy, TTUSD is participating in a voluntary COVID-19 testing program. Every student and staff member will receive an over-the-counter COVID-19 test kit before both the Thanksgiving Holiday break and the Winter Holiday break. Following prolonged breaks from school when families will be gathering to celebrate holidays, we are encouraging families to voluntarily test for COVID-19 prior to returning to school on Monday, November 28.

Please stay home if your student is experiencing any symptoms of illness. Symptoms may appear 2-14 days after exposure to the virus. People with these symptoms may have COVID-19:

• Fever or chills

• Cough

• Shortness of breath or difficulty breathing

• Fatigue

• Muscle or body aches

• Headache

• New loss of taste or smell

• Sore throat

• Congestion or runny nose

• Nausea or vomiting

• Diarrhea
