3/6 Thursday – Author visit - Aron Nels Steinke, for Grades 3 - 5; new K-2 visit added

3/11 Tuesday – Sellwood Parent Info Night (for current fifth grade families), 6 - 7pm

3/12 Wednesday – Spring Picture Day - Be sure to bring in forms for photographer or order online

We had two great afternoons of competition and were amazed by all of the hard work the kids (and coaches) put in. Such an accomplishment! We Eat Books (and Maybe Children) will represent Lewis at the regional competition on March 15th. Please congratulate Remy, Elliot, Valley, Lucas, and Dylan, and wish them luck!

Looking for a fun Saturday night? Come rock out with us at the LEWIS ROCKS! 5th Grade Science Camp Benefit Concert, featuring The Dead Famous, the Waxwings, and other special guests. All ages show! Doors 4:30, Music 5-8pm.

You still have time to get TICKETS but hurry ‘cause we may sell out soon! Can’t make the show? You can also donate via the same form!

Also, Saturday night, check out the Heist food carts below who will be donating a portion of their proceeds to 5th Grade Science Camp Fundraising. All participating food carts will display a Lewis Rocks poster in their window.

Lewis Rocks Committee members and parents, Jake Dockter (Alice & Julian) & Tim Anderson (May & Margaret) are scheduled guests for XRAY FM’s morning show on Feb 26 at 8:15am.

City Councilwoman Tiffany Koyama Lane may be in attendance and we received PR Support from County Commissioner Julia Brim-Edwards!
