- Magical Monday, February 3rd, more details are below on the flyer.

- February 7th students may wear red to school to celebrate raising heart health awareness. Their pants and shoes must remain within the dress code guidelines. They may wear red hats, red shirts, and other red accessories on this day.

- If your child received a loss of credit letter in the fall they should be making up their hours. A Saturday school scheduled is posted below for your reference.

-Please do not use the CIS parking lot or the trees at the edge of campus as a place to pick your student up from school, all car riders should be picked up in the car rider line at the main entrance of the school. Thank you for your cooperation. Your students safety is important to us.

Art- Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo art exhibit results are as follows:

Best of Show- Morgan Zengerle- 8th grade

Gold Medal- Riley Dickens- 6th grader

6th grade winners- Evelyn Nezhad, Bryson Ebrom

7th grade winners- Adelaide Phinney, Letty Maldonado, Breliya Jones, Max Medina, Bailey Dolan, Kobe Chaffin

8th grade winner- Hannah Koudelka

Band- Congratulations to Grady Pick and and Carley Cochran! Carley made 4th chair on the flute and Grady made 10th chair on the tuba at the Junior High Region Band auditions! They will both attend the region band clinic and then perform in the Region Band concert on February 4th at 6:00 pm at Davenport High School. This is a huge achievement for these two students! We are very proud of all our honor band students who went to audition!

Boys Basketball- February 3rd vs Patti Welder- 7th grade at Liberty Academy 3002 E. North Victoria, TX, 8th grade at Home, B teams- 5:00 pm and A teams- 6:00 pm

-The DeWitt County Spelling Bee was held Thursday, January 30, 2025. Addison McClellan will be the alternate for the Regional Spelling Bee!
