You may shop online from September 29 through October 6, at mattresswarehouse.com, password: JORDAN24 or join members of the softball and Men's golf Team in store on Saturday, October 5, from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Proceeds from the sales will support the Jordan Athletic Booster Club, Men's Golf Team and Women's Softball.

Students are you ready to apply for the summer experience of a lifetime?! The North Carolina Governor's School is a four-week summer residential program for gifted and talented high school students, integrating academic disciplines, the arts, and unique courses on each of their two campuses. Learning focuses on the exploration of the most recent ideas and concepts in each discipline, and it does not involve credit, tests, or grades. The official district wide virtual information session is scheduled for October 8th, from 6:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. Linked is an information presentation for a quick snapshot into Governor’s School.

The Armed Services Vocational Aptitude Battery (ASVAB) will be offered on Friday, October 11th at 9:00 a.m. The ASVAB is a test that helps determine a student's eligibility for military service and can also help identify careers that may be a good fit after graduation. Nominated by several members of the Jordan music department, 𝐊𝐞𝐯𝐢𝐧 𝐅𝐞𝐫𝐠𝐮𝐬𝐨𝐧, 𝐚 𝐉𝐨𝐫𝐝𝐚𝐧 𝐇𝐢𝐠𝐡 𝐒𝐜𝐡𝐨𝐨𝐥 𝐎𝐫𝐜𝐡𝐞𝐬𝐭𝐫𝐚 𝐦𝐞𝐦𝐛𝐞𝐫, is always the first to volunteer to help other students and Ms. Andrews. Described by his classmates as a quiet but mighty leader, Kevin exemplifies the spirit of community and leadership. We could all use a Kevin in our life!

Yearbook Early Bird Special

The yearbook early bird special has been extended to Friday, October 18th! The yearbook is currently priced at $75. The price will go up after the 18th. Purchase your yearbook here.

Class of 2025 Baby Photos
We want to celebrate your senior by including their baby photo in the yearbook! Using this link, please submit ONE baby photo. We are only accepting original digital files or JPEG scans of a physical photo. We are not able to accept screenshots or pictures of a physical photo that you have taken with your phone. The deadline to submit a baby photo is Sunday, October 20th. If you have any questions, please contact Ms. Charlotte Fontham at charlotte_fontham@dpsnc.net.

• Underclassmen Picture Day: Underclassmen picture day is October 9th. All freshmen, sophomores, and juniors need to have their picture taken for the yearbook, as well as for their student ID. Underclassmen retakes will be on November 12th. Underclassmen families can pre-order photo packages online at CADY.com/SchoolPictures prior to picture day. Those who do not pre-order will receive digital proofs via email and SMS text with a link to view and order after picture day. All orders will be shipped to the home address listed in PowerSchool, not to the school.
• Senior Pictures: Yearbook only pictures day is October 16th. Any senior who has not been photographed will be assigned a photo time to take their yearbook picture and cap and gown picture. The yearbook only shoot is free of charge. The last day to be photographed by CADY at their studio to be included in the yearbook is November 1st.

Currently, the cap, gown, stole, and tassel package for the Class of 2025 is $51. Graduation participants only need the cap, gown, stole, and tassel. Students will also wear their regalia at the Senior Recognition Ceremony in May.
