Thurs. 5/30: Last Day of School!

All 6th grade students and their families are invited to South Elgin High School for a special recognition ceremony on Tuesday, May 28th at 6:00 pm. Cake and juice will be served after the ceremony, provided by the PTO.

• Weds. 6/5: Yearbook Distribution Party @ Nature Ridge 4-6 pm

As we mentioned in an email last week, our yearbook provider had an issue at their processing plant, and the yearbooks will not arrive before the last day of school. As a way to make it up to the students, the company is sponsoring a Yearbook Distribution Party for the students to pick up their yearbooks, gather with friends, and enjoy some ice cream sundaes from the Ice Cream Overload truck!

The PTO is still looking for people to help organize and run the following events/programs.

*Yearbook Coordinator: Communicate with yearbook company (no designing involved)

*Yearbook Design: Add photos to yearbook template on company website

*Nothing Bundt Cakes Fundraiser Coordinator: Communicate with company, collect orders, organizer volunteers for distribution

*Book Fair Committee: Communicate with company and school to determine dates, organize volunteers, help with set-up/take-down, assist students during classroom visits.
