ADMINISTRATION
Jaguar Families,
Welcome back! I hope you had the time you need to refresh. Here we go 2025!
There is NO SCHOOL for students Monday, January 6, while staff will be on campus getting ready for the 3rd quarter.
Students return to campus on Tuesday, January 7 for a Special LATE START schedule. Gates open at 8:45 AM. Tuesday is a special schedule for our PBIS "reboot" activities. We like to take one full day at the mid point in the year to revisit school expectations, focus on relationships, and educate about important reminders. Here is a SAMPLE of slides students will go through in Advocacy class.
Wednesday, 1/8, will be a typical Late Start Wednesday.

PBIS REBOOT
On Tuesday, January 7, we will welcome students back for Term 3. That day, we will follow a special late start schedule for our PBIS Reboot. Students should report to their advocacy class by 9:20 AM. Throughout the day, students will spend time with their advocacy class, where they will receive their Term 3 schedules, review school-wide expectations, participate in games, attend an assembly, and strengthen connections with their classmates. Please ensure that students bring a charged Chromebook for the day.
ARRIVE ALIVE ASSEMBLY INFORMATION
Students will also attend an Arrive Alive Assembly with their advocacy class on Tuesday, January 6. This assembly provides an interactive experience for youth, raising awareness about the real problem of fentanyl poisoning in Sacramento County. Drug-related deaths are increasingly affecting individuals beyond those battling addiction. Drug dealers are reaching out to children through social media and money transfer apps, leading to tragic consequences. The Arrive Alive program features expert speakers, including professionals from the Crime Lab, Drug Recognition Experts, the Department of Health Services, medical professionals, and local families impacted by the fentanyl crisis. This initiative has proven to be very effective in saving lives. For more information, please visit their website: https://www.arrivealiveca.com/one-pill-can-kill.
TOBY TUESDAY
The first Tuesday of every month is Toby Tuesday (our dine-out day)! Help support Toby by dining at PANDA EXPRESS between 9:30 AM and 10:30 PM. Do not forget to tell them you are with Toby and we will get a portion of the profits. Bring your receipt to MC6 the next day at lunch for a prize!
