To Our District 67 Community:
We are reaching out to address reports we have received regarding social media communication between an Everett staff member and a student at DPM.
We are taking this report very seriously and have conducted an investigation.
While we are not at liberty to share the specifics of any one personnel situation, please know that the safety of our students is our highest priority. In such situations, reports are made to DCFS and the Lake Forest Police Department. In addition, disciplinary and corrective actions are taken in accordance with state law, school code, and the collective bargaining agreement.
We thank those who came forward about this incident and encourage anyone with concerns about misconduct, past or present, to use the “Report a Concern” form on the school website's home page or contact local law enforcement.
