Please take a moment this weekend and remember the reason for the long weekend. Memorial Day is a day to remember those brave men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice defending our great country. On a personal note, I want to remember 2 of my friends who served with me in the Army and never returned home from Iraq: Matthew Holley, a 21-year old Army medic, and James Lyons, a 26-year old Army Infantry Officer. May their memory - and the memory of all our deceased Veterans - live on.
SPRING CONCERT
Thank you to all the parents who took time out of their busy schedules and attended today's concerts. The students did an amazing job. I especially want to thank Mr. Brentson for all his hard work putting together such a wonderful show. Even though he is only here part time, he doesn't let that hold him back and completes a full time schedule. Bravo!

KINDERGARTEN ORIENTATION
For the past few years, Shelton schools held a Kindergarten Orientation for the incoming Kindergarten class in the June before students started. This year, there will NOT be a Kindergarten meeting in June. We will have our Annual Bus Safety Day on August 25th, 2025. This is the day before the first day of school. At that meeting, your kindergartener will have an opportunity to go to a kindergarten classroom and parents will get information about Kindergarten from their building principal.
