PACK Guardians and Students,

There is one more solid week of school before the Christmas break. We do have some unit assessments going on want to keep instruction at the forefront as much as possible. We will have a theme week this week but students must still be dressed appropriately in accordance with the dress code. Friday is an EARLY RELEASE DAY AT NOON. The schedule is below.

Hubbard Crossing Guards - I want to get our crossing guards something extra special for Christmas. It is COLD out there in the road for a couple hours each morning helping students cross. They would LOVE a heated jacket! If you would like to contribute, please feel free to come to the front office and make a donation to make their Christmas extra special and their January/February a little more warm!

Huskies and Hot Rods car show - This has been postponed to the spring due to inclement weather.

Food Drive - We are continuing our canned food drive all next week. Which advisory class will be the winner?!?

All-Region Band - A big shoutout to a couple awesome band members! Nicolas Vazquez - 1st Chair Trumpet in the Honors Band (he got 1st out of 90 students!) and Mathew Betancourt received 4th Chair Tenor Saxophone in the Concert Band.

Absences and Makeup work - I have been asked by teachers to remind students and guardians that when our Husky is absent, they need to see the teacher about what they missed and what they need to make up. Second, we have some unit assessments coming up at the very end of this semester and need all students here. Please refrain from having your student miss days during that last week. We have some fun activities planned for Friday!

Leaving Early - If you are picking your child up early from school please do so by 3:15 p.m. We do not allow students to be checked out after 3:15 p.m. since this could hamper our dismissal procedures and ability to retrieve multiple students before the bell. The front office is closed between 3:15 and 3:45 p.m.
