I can’t believe that we’ve made it to November! Last week we held our first Golden Awards Assembly of the year. We recognized students that had perfect attendance, students that participated in clubs and activities and individual classes that were outstanding in specific ways. Every one of our students exemplifies our Eagle Expectations and I am extremely proud of their accomplishments. A school-wide goal this year was to improve our attendance rate, and our students were at school 97.89% of the time during the first quarter. This couldn’t have happened without our Larson families and our amazing staff, thank you all for everything that you do.

The Texas Roadhouse Rolls Fundraiser is going on NOW! All proceeds will benefit the Larson ASPIRE Preschool and RISE programs. A dozen rolls costs $12.00 and comes with one container of the delicious cinnamon-honey butter. Payment is CASH or CHECK ONLY. Rolls will be frozen and come with cooking instructions.

All money and order forms will be due to your student’s homeroom teacher (or front office) by November 20th! Please make checks payable to Larson Elementary.

Rolls will be available for pick-up on Tuesday, November 26th from 4:15 PM-6:15 PM in the Larson bus loop.

Miss Lamont and Mrs. Taylor's kindergarten classes are hosting a Thanksgiving program for kindergarten parents and family members. The program will be on Friday, November 22nd at 2:45pm - 3:15pm in the gymnasium. We hope to see you there!

BREAK OUT THE GLUE GUNS! Join us on Friday, December 13th from 5:00pm - 7:00pm for our annual Title I Holiday Craft Night. Please stop by the gym while you are here to learn more about Title I at Larson! This is always a creative and fun event for the whole family. Some lucky winners will be going home with holiday turkeys and hams!

Larson Elementary is teaming up with Frontline Mission to help feed families in need in our community. Please donate canned green beans, canned corn, canned soups and macaroni and cheese. The classroom that brings in the most items wins an ice cream party!

Temperatures are dropping. Please send your student(s) to school with appropriate cold weather gear. They need hats, gloves, mittens, boots, snow-pants, and scarves for recess. Students go outside in weather as cold as -10 degrees! Please make sure all gear is clearly labeled with your student's name.

The Lost and Found is OVERFLOWING! Please check it for missing items. It is located in the front entrance near the main door. There is also a Recess Lost and Found located in the breezeway by Room 101. Unclaimed items will be donated to local charities at the end of November.
