Brief Message From the Principal

Dear Altoona Elementary Community,

As you may know, our PTA Unfundraiser is in full swing! Thank you to our incredible PTA for their dedication and hard work in supporting our school.
For the past four years, the PTA has tirelessly raised funds—not only to support its general budget, which benefits our school in countless ways, but also to fund larger projects, like our playground improvement.
Our playground project involves many moving parts. With district funds, grant funds, PTA contributions, and coordination of engineers and contractors, we are working diligently to bring this vision to life. I will continue sharing updates as we learn of timelines and progress.

As we move forward, we want to emphasize the importance of being at school every day. Consistent attendance helps students stay engaged and continue building important skills.

Additionally, we are reinforcing RAMS WAY Expectations, encouraging students to be respectful, always responsible, motivated, and safe in all areas of our school, at home, and beyond. Your support in reminding your child of these expectations at home is greatly appreciated!
