Lifelong Learners
IB Global Conference, Summer 2024
Our leadership team attended the annual IB Global Conference in Washington D.C. this summer. They listened to keynote speakers share thoughts on Education in the Age of AI and former IB students share about their experience and opportunities through the IB education.
The leadership team learned from sessions including: MYP Developments, PYP Developments, Metacognition, Nature Journaling, Inquiry in the Early Years, Design Education, Feedback that feeds learning forward, and more.
It was a rich experience to set the tone for a successful school year!
Leadership with the ACTs
During the summer, the grade level leaders and department chairs gathered to share feedback on new initiatives and systems that our campus will implement. They reflected on their communication skills: listening and speaking, through a fun, intentional learning activity. Third time's a charm!
Welcome Back Teachers
Our teachers engaged in beginning of year reflections on data. They learned and shared feedback on new systems and processes we will be implementing collectively.
