Dear Parents and Carers,
We have had an excitement filled week at Carleton Park. Our Reception children had a wonderful time during their recent visit to the farm! The day was filled with laughter, learning, and lots of hands-on experiences as the children fed animals, explored the farm, and discovered the wonders of nature. It was a fantastic opportunity for them to connect with the environment and gain a greater appreciation for where our food comes from.
Years 1 and 2 had an incredible time during their recent trip to The Deep! The children explored marine life up close, from fascinating fish to strange sea creatures. They were captivated by the underwater tunnels and loved learning about the diverse animals that live in our oceans. The children’s curiosity was sparked, and they left with a deeper appreciation for the wonders of the sea.
And finally, Year 5 have spent the week at Marrick on residential. We are delighted to share that the trip was a huge success! The children had an amazing time immersed in outdoor adventures, from completing a nine-mile walk through beautiful landscapes to taking part in team-building activities. When I say we saw every season - we experienced snow, rain, sunshine, hail and rainbows! The children challenged themselves, enjoyed new experiences, and created unforgettable memories. The trip provided valuable opportunities for personal growth, teamwork, and learning about the natural world. We are incredibly proud of how the children embraced every moment of their adventure. A big thank you to the staff and parents who supported this wonderful experience!
Take care,
Mrs Winter
