Maintenance Appreciation Day!
👏👏👏
We are so thankful for each of these guys! They work so hard and keep our school running efficiently! We honored them by providing some yummy tacos and thanking them for their service to our students, staff, and school!
Garden Club 🥀🌼🌵🌳
Huge thanks to the Denton County Farm Bureau for their generous donation to our JRE Garden Club! They visited our school to meet our amazing students, check out our growing plants, and hear all about our exciting plans for the club.
We’re so grateful for the Denton County Farm Bureau and the AgriLife Extension Office—their support means the world! Teaching and inspiring the next generation about where our food comes from and the hard work of farmers and ranchers is more important than ever.
Together, we’re growing something special! #JREGardenClub #GrowingTheFuture #ThankAFarmer #AgEducation

Safe Firearm Storage: What Families Need to Know
Texas law now requires school districts to provide parents and guardians with information on safe firearm storage. Proper firearm storage helps prevent accidents and unauthorized access, ensuring the safety of children and the community.
Under Texas Penal Code 46.13, it is unlawful to store, transport, or abandon an unsecured firearm where a child could access it. A person may be held legally responsible if a child gains access to a readily dischargeable firearm due to negligence.
The Keep ’Em Safe Texas campaign, developed by the Texas Department of Public Safety, offers free resources on safe gun storage, including guidance on how to talk to children about firearm safety.
For more information and access to downloadable resources in English and Spanish, visit Keep ’Em Safe Texas.
