Here's How CPS is Celebrating

Dear Families,

Please read down for all the information you need to know about our school's celebration of Halloween!

Thank you for your cooperation! We are looking forward to a safe and fun day at school!

October 31st will be Pajama Day at CPS

🎃🎃 After discussing with CPS staff, we have unanimously decided to wear PJ's to school on Halloween.🎃🎃

🎃 Families : There's a lot of time and effort put into Halloween costumes. We want to make sure that they are intact and ready for the evening festivities. We work and play hard at school, and it would be unfortunate if something happened to the costume.

🧥 Safety: We are asking that students wear their regular footwear to school.

🐒 Pillows, blankets and stuffies: Please leave them at home.

Fire Prevention Day is Friday, October 18th

Here at CPS, we will have firefighters from China and South China at school and classrooms will have a presentation about the importance of smoke alarms and fire safety. Pics will be posted in the October 22nd Dragon News.

If you're able to help out, please sign up to assist in having our book fair run as smooth as possible.

October is Down Syndrome Awareness Month

During our Rise and Shine on Monday, October 28th we will celebrate Down Syndrome Awareness Month with our CPS community. We celebrate all CPS Dragons everyday, and will be led in the Pledge of Allegiance by our students and community members living with Down Syndrome.

Coming soon, you’ll see requests for basket raffle donations. Each year at our craft show, one of our major fundraising efforts is our basket raffle. Each grade is given a theme and donations are gathered. These donations are put into baskets that we raffle off at the end of the craft show. We appreciate all donations, as they help make the raffle a success, ensuring that we can do our thing which is funding field trips and events for all grades!
