#RMStheGOLDstandard Spotlight!
The Academic Bowl team had a great day at the Titan Takedown tournament! This was the first competition for our 6th grade team, and they played with excitement and determination, winning the novice division. 6th grade team members included Emma Li, Vidyuth Vijay, Karina Szeto, Karthik Ankem, Neil Kovoor, Srujan Konda, and Akhil Gangula.
The A through D teams played in the middle school division, and our teams worked hard, encouraging each other throughout the day. The A team looked poised and sharp, winning the division with a true team effort. The team included captain Samuel Zhuang, Cameron Vance, Nia Li, Suchet Kuturu, Ashvik Talluru, and Adhrit Gopi. We are looking forward to our next competition on November 9th.

A Request from Teachers:
We need your help with water bottles! Please make sure your student has a spill-proof water bottle and understands the importance of reporting spills to an adult quickly!
If a student spills water in class, it could cause damage to teacher resources/student resources/technology equipment and causes disruptions to class and learning of other students
When students spill water in the hallway and don't report it, it creates a dangerous situation for all school attendees!
We thank you for your understanding and assistance with this issue!

School Safety - P3 Campus Reporting
P3 Campus - See Something, Say Something
The Forsyth County Sheriff's Office and Forsyth County Schools work together to provide P3 Campus Reporting, which provides an avenue for all members of the community to submit anonymous tips about non-urgent illegal activities such as unsolved cases, vandalism, theft, the sale and distribution of drugs, possession of weapons or information about crimes that are being planned on their schools' campus.
Students are encouraged to report information about dangerous or harmful situations to the principal, an assistant principal, a teacher, or another trusted adult. Anonymous TIPS can also be reported to the Forsyth County Schools P3 Campus Anonymous Reporting in one of three ways.
1. Download the App on App Store or Google Play
2. ANONYMOUS Web tip at https://www.p3campus.com
3. Call the ANONYMOUS tip line at 770-888-3466 ext. 1 or 3.
