Eagle News is retuning for the 2024-2025 School Year!
Welcome to those new to our Freedom family and welcome back to our already amazing eagles. The Eagle News will be sent once a month this year. We hope to provide some useful information and give our families some insight to the wonderful things that occur at our Freedom home.
Always remember that YOU, our students, families, teachers, staff and community help make Freedom High School a wonderful place for learning and growth. As Mrs. Smith often shares "Freedom is a place where Eagles Soar". Make 2024 - 2025 an amazing school year!

Freedom High School's community meet and greet this 24-25 school year was held on August 10th at Todos Supermarket. The administrative team and Freedom staff meet distributed over 100 student back packs, school supplies and valuable resources on this day. It was a wonderful day where familiar faces stopped by to say hello to the Eagle family and new introductions made.

After School Remediation
After school remediation are held on Tuesday and Wednesday after school in the enclosed cafeteria from 2:15-4:30 P.M. Students can get a ride home on the activity bus. This will help them complete assignments, projects and review for their content classes.

FYI: Winter sports tryouts begin November 11th. All student must have a VHSL physical completed and concussion training done on Parent Vue.

Latin Information Night: Join us to learn about the resources available to you and your family; in your language! Thursday, 09/26 at Freedom High School 6pm - 8pm
The Eighth Annual Family Camp: PWCS Title I - Saturday, 10/19/2024 8:30am - 12:30 pm at Hampton Middle School, 14800 Darbydale Avenue, Woodbridge, VA . Family Camp Resource Fair will be open for the entire event. Breakfast, refreshments will be offered. Please register by 10/4/2024 www.pwcs.edu/familycamp
