FJVD Weekly Info
We Live the Word!
From the Principal's Desk
Dear Father Doyle Families,
Over the past several weeks, the school community has been united in prayer for Father John Duggan, who has served as priest in residence at Ss. John and Paul Parish for more than 24 years. Fr. Duggan passed away peacefully at the rectory yesterday afternoon, with his sister, Fr. Woolley and caregiver Renée Johnson at his bedside. Funeral arrangements will be announced this weekend and posted on our Parish website and social media.
Thank you to the students, staff and families who have been praying and sending cards for Fr. JD, and special thanks to Nurse Patti for her daily visits with him. "Eternal rest, grant unto him O Lord, and let Perpetual Light shine upon him!"
Spooktacular & Trunk or Treat Tomorrow!
We're looking forward to our Trunk or Treat event tomorrow evening beginning at 6pm! All students are invited to attend. Please contact Jen Marra at jenmarra@fjvd.org with any questions. Thank you!

Uniform Policies for the 2021-2022 School Year
The school is aware that ordering and receiving uniforms has been especially difficult this year. While it is important that students continue to adhere to the dress code, we understand that - based on uniform availability - some additional options may be necessary in order for our parents to easily and cost effectively dress their child(ren) in uniform. With this in mind, please carefully review the FJVD Uniform Policy Amendments for the 2021-2022 academic year provided here. Please note that these uniform policy amendments are only valid for the 2021-2022 school year. If you need help finding uniform items please contact Mrs. Marra at jennmarra@fjvd.org. You may also complete the Used Uniform Request Form. Thank you!
NEASC 4-Year Strategic Planning Survey
We greatly appreciate families taking the time to complete our 4-year planning survey, which can be found at the following link: https://bit.ly/FJVD4YrPlanningSurvey. Your thoughts and insights will help shape the future of Father Doyle School! If you're interested in becoming more involved in our strategic planning process and would like to volunteer as a parent coordinator on one of our strategic planning committees, please register here.

A reminder that Father Doyle School recently expanded its testing capability and can now offer PCR tests for students. To learn more, please see the memo sent to families here. No student will be tested without a signed consent form. Thank you!

Aluminum Can Tab Collection
What: Aluminum can tabs are being collected
Why: To support the Ronald McDonald House in Providence
How can you help? Save can tabs and send them in to Mr. Godin’s room.
Bottle Cap Drive
We’re excited to share that our school is part of the Coca-Cola Give program. This provides new funding opportunities to help improve learning environments for students. The best part? Donations don’t come out of your own pocket. When you make Coca-Cola purchases, you simply send in bottle caps or product codes from boxes of beverages and our school receives a donation.
All caps and codes should be sent to Mr. Godin. Codes will be entered on one account to gain larger and quicker donations.
Thank you!
